Being a New Mom and Direct Primary Care

This week on Healthcare Americana, Freedom Healthworks’s CEO and co-founder, Christopher Habig, and Meghan Johnston, a home designer from Richmond, Virginia, talk about her experience having an infant and using direct primary care (DPC).

“Having your first child can be scary, especially when trying to navigate healthcare options,” says Johnston.

Johnston knew about DPC for a few years, but she says it wasn’t until the birth of her first child that she truly appreciated the benefits. Since her son was born, she has had to use her DPC doctor for emergencies, questions, and even peace of mind.
