Dr. Rivera launches Coastal Wellness of Savannah in Savannah, Georgia

Savannah, GA – December 1, 2022 – Coastal Wellness of Savannah, a new Savannah primary care office providing direct-to-consumer healthcare, announced the opening of its business, led by Dr. Rivera, scheduled on December 1, 2022. Dr. Rivera brings new energy to the area’s primary care landscape and is making care more accessible with a membership approach. Coastal Wellness of Savannah is a member of the national FreedomDoc community.

Many patients struggle to secure prompt, personal medical attention in the current healthcare environment. Coastal Wellness of Savannah’s membership-based model offers enhanced access to Dr. Rivera. This access allows her to collaborate closely with patients and spend time working toward improving and maintaining their optimal health. Dr. Rivera is enrolling new patients but will only accept a limited number in order to provide excellent care with no wait times and longer face-to-face visits. Coastal Wellness of Savannah emphasizes wellness and prevention for patients.

Dr. Rivera is a Family and Preventive Medicine Physician with over 29 years of experience in medicine. Dr. Rivera is passionate about health prevention and wellness and firmly believes in the adage: “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of remedy.” She believes in a holistic approach to health and prioritizes the physician-patient relationship. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is proud to serve the Latino community in Savannah by providing medical care free of language barriers.

I started Coastal Wellness of Savannah to empower patients to achieve optimal health and well-being.,” said Dr. Rivera.

Coastal Wellness of Savannah provides care for patients for a transparent, flat monthly fee of $78.99 or less for primary care memberships and $225 or less for addiction services. Dr. Rivera will deliver personal, unrushed, focused care to each patient. Visits are on time, last as long as necessary (usually 30 – 90 minutes), and care is available in person or remotely by text, phone, email, and secure digital apps.
