Dr. Joshua Fischer is pleased to announce the opening of Dr. Fischer, MD, in Marion, MA, on February 12, 2024. Dr. Fischer is an alumnus of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He is board-certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Prior to founding Dr. Fischer, MD, he worked for over a decade at Coastal Medical of Rhode Island, where he had a busy primary care practice and served on the faculty of Brown University’s medical school.
Dr. Fischer, MD, is part of a growing national trend of direct primary care practices. In exchange for a flat monthly fee, patients get ample time with the doctor, same or next-day sick visits, the ability to text or talk directly with the doctor off hours for urgent matters, first-class customer service, access to advanced diagnostic testing, and a holistic model of care that prioritizes wellness and prevention.
