Dr. Kristen Dall-Winther launches Birchwood Family Medicine
Birchwood, WI – June 1, 2021 – Birchwood Family Medicine, a new Birchwood primary care office providing direct to consumer healthcare, announced the opening of the business led by Kristen Dall-Winther, MD, scheduled for July 1, 2021. Dr. Dall-Winther brings new energy to the town’s primary care landscape and is making care more accessible with a membership approach. Birchwood Family Medicine is a member of the national FreedomDoc physician community.
As patients struggle to get prompt, personal medical attention, Birchwood Family Medicine’s membership-based care allows them to access a personal doctor that will collaborate with them on treatment and spend time working with them to get healthy and stay healthy. Dr. Dall-Winther is enrolling new patients but will only accept a limited number in order to provide excellent care with no wait times and longer face to face visits. Birchwood Family Medicine emphasizes wellness and prevention for patients and can treat a wide range of care needs such as everyday care, chronic conditions, family health, mental health, and work with specialists for referrals.

Kristen Dall-Winther, MD, is a Wisconsin native. Born and raised in Racine, she was the eldest of 4 children in her working-class family, which her parents led as a career firefighter and quilt-shop owner. She chose to open Birchwood Family Medicine after being frustrated by the limits placed on her by insurance companies and hospital-owned medical practices.

Birchwood Family Medicine provides care for patients for a clear, flat monthly fee, as low as $80/month. Dr. Dall-Winther will deliver personal, unrushed, focused care to each patient. Visits are on time, last as long as necessary, (usually 30 – 60 minutes), and care is available whenever needed, in person or remotely by text, phone, email, and secure digital apps.
