Elizabeth Bowen MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC and Kathryn McGovern MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC launch Your Corner Pediatrics in Indianapolis, Indiana

Indianapolis, IN – July 5, 2022– Your Corner Pediatrics, a new Indianapolis pediatric office providing direct-to-consumer healthcare, announced the opening of the business led by Elizabeth Bowen MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC, and Kathryn McGovern MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC scheduled on July 5, 2022. Bowen and McGovern bring new energy to the area’s pediatric landscape and are making care more accessible with a membership approach. Your Corner Pediatrics is a member of the national FreedomDoc physician community.

As patients struggle to get prompt, personal medical attention, Your Corner Pediatrics’ membership-based care allows them to access a personal provider that will collaborate with them on treatment and spend time working with them to get healthy and stay healthy. Bowen and McGovern are enrolling new patients but will only accept a limited number in order to provide excellent care with no wait times and longer face-to-face visits. Your Corner Pediatrics emphasizes wellness and prevention for patients.

Elizabeth Bowen MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC is an east coast native who moved to the midwest in 2012. Since her arrival, she has been providing care for children in the Indianapolis area. She graduated from Indiana University with her Master’s of Science in Nursing and has made it a goal to provide the highest level of care for patients and their families.

“I look forward to sharing my expertise and desire to build relationships with the community at Your Corner Pediatrics. By providing comprehensive and compassionate care that is patient and family-centered, I look forward to helping my patients with sleep-related issues, acute concerns, and routine well-child visits. I want every patient and their family to know I am always in their corner,” said Bowen.

Kathryn McGovern MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC graduated from Indiana University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing. She is Board Certified by the Pediatric National Certification Board. She has been leading and training Nurse Practitioners for over a decade. In her previous work experience, she recognized the traditional system’s disconnect between the providers treating acute and chronic illnesses and their patients. This disconnect is what has driven her passion for Your Corner Pediatrics.

“Because of my experience working with patients from newborns through adolescence in a pediatric clinic, my desire is to help every member of the family thrive. I want every family member to feel like they have someone close by, ready to help them work through challenges and celebrate milestones,” said McGovern.

Your Corner Pediatrics provides care for patients for a clear, flat monthly fee of $125 or less. Bowen and McGovern will deliver personal, unrushed, focused care to each patient. Visits are on time, last as long as necessary, (usually 30 – 90 minutes), and care is available whenever needed, in person or remotely by text, phone, email, and secure digital apps.
